We’re proud our Eos Znyth technology, with its water-based electrolyte and flame-retardant polymer framing has received full UL9540A and UL 1973 certification, validating that our system has no risk of thermal runaway.
But we’re equally proud that our battery modules can sit at zero charge with no impact to their stability when fully charged, are at most mildly acidic (pH 2-4 range), and even when over-charged, only off-gas negligible levels of hydrogen (~6 microliters per minute). Why? Because it means they’re safe for our people to build and ship, and your team to install and run—even in high heat or densely populated environments.
No clean rooms or fire suppression systems are necessary at any stage of construction of Eos storage systems.
