Forecasting our Future: Pittsburgh hosts Global Clean Energy Action Forum
Led by U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, the event began Wednesday evening with opening ceremonies at the Heinz History Center in the Strip District.
Energy ministers from 31 countries were traveling to Pittsburgh for the environmental summit at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and John Kerry, the U.S. special presidential envoy for climate, were also among the expected attendees.
