Eos Indensity shatters the current density ceiling that constrains many incumbent systems. While some conventional technologies operate around 250 MWh per acre, Indensity is targeting 1 GWh per acre of storage capacity. That’s roughly 4x that of most incumbent technologies within the same footprint.
This increase in density is made possible by the non-flammable design of our Eos Z3™ battery modules, the protective controls of our Eos DawnOS™ platform, and the unique form factor of our Eos Indensity Core™ units—the building blocks of our Indensity architecture.

The configurability of Eos Indensity unlocks both horizontal and vertical real estate—transforming the power potential of virtually any site. Spread across rural land, build upward to align with suburban zoning, or rise tall within dense urban environments—driven by energy needs, not available footprint.
A simple steel superstructure is assembled first, with Eos Indensity Core units slotted into place. Fully weather-ready yet indoor-rated, Indensity can be installed inside an existing building, wrapped in an architecturally-appropriated screen outside, or just placed directly outdoors, open to the elements.

Built for extremes, Eos Indensity meets the toughest operational demands, powering the world’s most challenging missions. The zinc-based chemistry of Eos Z3 battery modules enables precision response to rapidly changing requirements—a wide range of discharge durations, cycling profiles, and states of charge, through freezing temperatures or blistering heat—while maintaining ~90% round trip efficiency (RTE) and ~96% capacity over a 25-year lifespan. The goal? To maximize usable electrons while eliminating tradeoffs in performance, safety, or siting.

These compact building blocks are designed for easy on-site assembly—reaching horizontally or vertically—into larger systems that precisely fit the available space, indoors or outdoors, while ensuring clear access for long-term servicing and maintenance.
It’s an ingenious combination of zinc chemistry, modular design, and AI-enabled software that forms the foundation of the Eos Indensity energy storage architecture.
